Dr Seyed Ajjaward

Dr Seyed Ajjaward completed his medical studies at the University of Peradeniya – Sri Lanka and has a degree of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery in 1998. He speaks English, Tamil and Sinhalese languages.

Dr Ajjaward has almost 20 years of experience as a Medical Practitioner.  Previously, he has worked in the NSW rural towns of Forbes and Bathurst and then in Sydney.

He is very familiar with the rural health system.  He enjoys giving information and options to his patients. He likes to discover what the patient needs, then supply them with more information regarding their health.

Dr Ajjaward has special interests in chronic diseases such as Diabetes and high blood pressure.  In addition to Men’s health and children’s medicine but he covers all aspects of family medicine. 

He has completed a Diploma in Child Health from the University of Sydney.

Dr Ajjaward achieved Fellowship with the RACGP in February 2024.

Dr Dempster graduated from the Medical School of the Ludwig-Maximilians University, Munich Germany in 1993. She commenced her Post graduate Medical training in Munich, Berlin and Paris. She completed her doctorate, in Medicine at the Ludwig-Maximilians University, Munich Germany in 2001. And was granted, GP specialist qualification in July 2006 by the Berlin Medical Council.

Dr Dempster has fulfilled the requirements of the Australian Medical Council and is certified. She is also registered through AHPRA and has recently completed SH & FPA certificate in Sexual and reproductive Health. Dr Dempster completed her Fellowship with RACGP in November 2018.

Dr Dempster is multilingual and is fluent in English, German, Italian and French.

She comes to our practice from the Gosford and Wyong Hospitals on the New South Wales Central Coast.

The focus she wishes to have in our practice is one of commitment to quality health care for the individual and family. Having been a General Practitioner in Germany she is very aware of the pressures of modern living and the need for concise and holistic care.

She has special interest in Sexual and reproductive health including pre and post natal care.

Dr Hari graduated from the University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka, in 1998. He has had a distinguished career in the Sri Lankan Hospital system working in specialities of Anaesthesia and Intensive Care Medicine.  He completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Critical Care medicine from the University of Colombo in 2010.

Dr Hari has completed the requirements of the Australian Medical Council and has obtained General registration with the Medical Board of Australia.

He moved to Australia in 2018 and commenced work in the Intensive Care Department at Bunbury Hospital, Western Australia. In early 2019, he moved to Westmead Hospital, Sydney as a Geriatric Medicine registrar and then continued his Intensive care interest at Westmead Hospital and thereafter at St George Hospital, Sydney.

He speaks English, Sinhalese and Tamil languages.

His interests are Chronic disease and Geriatric medicine.      

He now brings his varied wealth of more than 20 years’ experience to Clinton Medical Centre.

Dr Thamiliny (Thami) Elanthirayan graduated from University of Jaffna, Sri Lanka in 2007.

After graduating she worked in both the Hospital and General Practice in Sri Lanka. She moved to Canada in 2012, where she achieved Licentiate of the Medical Council of Canada (LMCC) in 2016, she worked in general practice and Geriatric and Paediatric Care while in Canada. She then moved to Oberon in September 2022 where she worked in General Practice.

Thami joins us with a love of our regional location and interests in Paediatrics and Women’s Health. She is keenly interested in all aspects of Chronic disease and Health issues.

With a young family, she has a broad background to draw from her own life experiences.

She speaks English, Sinhalese & Tamil.
